Canoeing

Enjoy river running? Want to experience a new adventure on the water? This is your chance. While it may not be the most exciting stretch of water in the world, the 6 miles of the James River between Warren and Scottsville provide beautiful scenery and a little class I (low class II) whitewater action to keep things interesting, or combine it with a night of camping to make it an amazing weekend experience! Our canoeing program is a fully outfitted canoeing experience for smaller to medium groups.  As with all of our trips these outings are lead by trained and experienced guides making it a great trip for people of all skill levels.

We also have an alternate trip for those who don't want to go all the way to the James or just prefer flatwater to a river. There are multiple lakes/reservoirs in the area including our favorite, Beaver Creek, which can be a great option for an afternoon of bonding and growth as well as a fun time on the water.

Some commonly requested canoe trips include team work, bonding, and communication, just to name a few.
