Get Involved

We are always encouraging students to get involved with Lifelines. The first and easiest way for you to involve yourself is to come on a trip or program with us. After that you should consider helping organize a trip or program with a group you are involved with. We have a program that trains students in the hard and soft skills used on our trips. Hard skills include training in the activities that we participate in like rafting, rock climbing, and paintball. Soft skills include training in group dynamics, facilitation, briefing and debriefing, as well as understanding what it means to have a relationship with God. The training involves four levels of development.

Entry level participants are considered Apprentice Trip Leaders. Upon completing the training curriculum and exposure to our trips you will make the transition to Assistant Trip Leader, Trip Leader Candidate and finally Trip Leader. At each level you will gain more responsibility for the group and the running of the organizations trips and programs.

Our goal is for our trips to be student run and facilitated. Please contact us if you have any desire to learn more about being involved.
